2011. Friend or Foe?

I do not know many people these days, who would like to reminisce about last year’s ups and downs. I was one of those people caught on the roller coaster. The unfortunate part of the ride is that I never bought a ticket, but somehow ended up in the front seat. For some, such a ride would be exhilarating, and probably at any other time in my life, I would agree. When choice is taken away from us though, motion sickness is never far behind. So, I propose that we just forget 2010 altogether and stay on point. I raise a glass to 2011 and toast the past thirty-plus days for their gentleness and abundance. Each day has offered up one type of gift, or another. Some have been intangible, others, quite palpable. It’s all in the perspective and my point of view is optimistic these days.

I have finally been able to scribe a few check marks in the boxes that line the left side of my “list.” We all have a “list,” don’t we? I am little embarrassed to admit though, that mine has curled, stained edges; a papyrus that scrolls rather than lays flat. An incriminating nuance, that feels more like a smack between the eyes of this task- and solutions-oriented Creative, is the date the list began. The cobbler paradigm resonates, as I now finally slip on a new pair of shoes and attend to an array of items, that apparently have been beckoning me for more than a year now. In hindsight, 2010′s nature was incorrigible, so I guess, I have a good excuse. Please join me, as I grab the reigns once again and clean off the muck collected from a path traveled by a headless horseman, and with a firm yank, redirect.

HERE’S WHAT’S NEW:

Well-deserved face-lifts for my websites, rather than a cut and shave. I already feel a decade younger, but how do I look?

Please feel free to offer up comments, while I reconstruct my cyberface, and provide me with treats that I can chew on. Those of you who truly know me, understand that I live for the “real and raw,” but I am still recuperating from last year’s face-off with the Devil. Be gentle, but honest.

I’ve been converted: Thirty-year veteran entrepreneur hangs up a few hats to ride the rails as a dynamic, multi-disciplined consultant, or a full-time, hands-on specialist for one lucky company out there!

As Napoleon Dynamite would say, “I’ve got skills!” Call me, send an email, text me, Skype me, FB me, tweet and Twitter, buzzthis, or Fandango for that matter … I’m here and ready to bolster your bottom line. (Only serious inquiries please)

I had developed a client identity campaign a few years ago; whereby, it’s success was forged in the coupling of “form with function.” It is my intention to build on the perfecting aspect, as opposed to the “perfective aspect,” of items composed of longevity, utility, aesthetic appeal, and a “fun factor.” With that said, I had received accolades a while back, that stated that my stationery collections were “unique, vibrant, emotionally uplifting, and attractive…nothing like it out there.” So, to continue leveraging that audit, in the hopes of putting my art firmly on the map (Floral Alchemy, Kaleidescopes, Limited Edition Photographic Collections), and making it accessible to the masses (at various price points), I ask you to take a look and become a fan!

And while curiosity has your tail, note that I offer my artworks as limited edition prints, on silk and tile too. By the way, my Silk Scarf Collections will be rolling out soon. Stay tuned.
